022 – A Dodgy Start

In episode 22 of Bristol Rovers fans’ podcast GasCast, we discuss what has been a poor start to the League One campaign for The Gas.

The four of us analyse the defeats to Charlton Athletic and Peterborough United and give our early thoughts on new signings Liam Sercombe and Tom Nichols, as well as the form of Ellis Harrison and Tom Lockyer.

We then look ahead to this weekend’s clash against a Bury side featuring the likes of Jermaine Beckford and Harry Bunn, and reminisce about our last visit to Craven Cottage ahead of Tuesday’s second-round league cup match against Fulham.

Finally, we touch upon the latest in the new stadium saga; discussing the news that owner Wael Al-Qadi will pursue redeveloping the Memorial Stadium and is keen to incorporate safe standing into the plans.

Ollie Neno hosts, alongside Max Alderson, Harley Thorne and GasCast debutant Simon Gray.

  • Really ??? think you need to watch the games a bit closer !!!!

    • Oh, so you think it’s been a good start?

      • I refer to comment’s about individual players rather than the team as a whole !!

        • Hard to know which comments in particular you’re on about but these are of course our opinions and all of us were indeed watching the game. All of us separately, too. So the fact we came to the same opinions on many of the players performance is hopefully at least interesting if not correct.
