010 – The Al-Qadi Takeover Special

The Al-Qadi Takeover Special of GasCast

In Episode 10 of GasCast, the Bristol Rovers Fans Podcast, Max, Ollie and Harley give their thoughts on what has been a truly historic few days for The Gas – with the Al-Qadi family completing a takeover of the club, and all of the previous board members standing down.

The Al-Qadi takeover took the fanbase by storm, and though many gasheads are optimistic, some are understandably wary of the risks that come along with foreign ownership.

Wael Al-Qadi, the clubs new president, has appointed Steve Hamer as the clubs new chairman. The pair both appear to have the passion required to take us forward.

We also take a look at the Morecambe game, and in particular give our thoughts on Liam Lawrence, the performance of the boys, and our hopes for the future of our club following the board clear-out.

A bit harsh to say Taylor’s goal at Oxford was “put on a plate for him” but he did seem to be pulling out of tackles on Saturday.
