Born a Gashead

GasheadsMy Dad started off by going to watch that other team that play in Bristol, but he soon saw light and started watching the Gas. He then met my mum, who originally comes from Essex but moved to Bristol in her teens, and introduced her to Bristol Rovers which meant she also found the light. They then had me.

I have been a Gashead since the day I was born. I have never been as passionate about anything as I am about Bristol Rovers, just ask my fiancé! After a match she can tell what the result was after about 5 minutes of me walking through the door. Lets just say, I might not be the best company if we lose! I will obviously be biased, but being a Gashead is like being part of one big family and I am proud to support Bristol rovers through the highs and the lows.

Social media has brought what was already a close knit club, even closer. We can share our thoughts about the club instantly through Facebook, Twitter, Podcasts etc. Another form is through Blogs. I love talking about Rovers and football in General so writing for this Blog was instantly appealing.  Although I have never done anything like this before I am really looking forward to writing more and sharing my thoughts and views publically.

So, just bare with me and we’ll work this out together. Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully I’ll have more to discuss very soon.
